Elevate
House

When young people in foster care can’t stay with their families and no foster home is available, they need a safe place to go. Elevate House, a Department of Children & Families Licensed Residential Program provides a supportive, stable environment where youth can live, grow, and prepare for adulthood. Serving youth ages 16–19, the program offers 24/7 care, personalized support, and a path toward independence.

Elevate Youth Services operates Elevate House, a Licensed Residential Program in collaboration with the Vermont Department of Children and Families. The program adheres to all necessary licensing regulations for Residential Treatment Programs in Vermont, ensuring it meets the required standards for the well-being of its residents.

The program operates as a staff-secure but voluntary program. A key component of the program is the youth's willingness to engage in the programming, which includes a daily schedule, daily chores, group outings, and therapy. The focus is on creating a safe and nurturing environment that encourages youth participation in their own growth and development. The program does not aim to restrict the freedom of residents or force them to participate; instead, it aims to provide structure, guidance, and room for self-exploration.

The program primarily emphasizes life skills development, active case management, employment and employability skills, as well as the exploration of community dynamics and leadership opportunities. It strives to create a home-like environment that offers comfort, security, nourishment, and social engagement. The professional staff at the residence are dedicated to supporting the residents in their journey towards personal growth and independence.
